Stumbled across Honey Picks via Reddit and put an order in for a pick tin and a 33mm Beekeeper's Stash in the Smoker shape. This pick easily rivals picks made by larger companies who charge much larger prices. There's no "pick click" and the picks are fast and surprisingly grippy even without a grip on them. I almost immediately ordered another 33mm Beekeeper's Stash in the Smoker shape and had it drilled with the multi-hole grip and it plays even better!!! Will be ordering more!!!
I strongly recommend giving these picks a try. So far, after playing at one small jam I know for certain one of my jam buddies have ordered a pick. I will be plugging these picks at every jam I play in!!!
I picked up the Beekeepers Stash in 26mm small triangle and am truly impressed. The size is perfect for me. It has a nice attack without being too sharp. I was worried that it would be too thick, but the beveling takes care of that. The pick is fast! It is very comfortable in my hands and I can palm the pick easily.
I also got a kirinite and two acrylics in the same size/shape. The kirinite is very close to the Beekeepers stash but maybe slightly sharper. The acrylics are definitely sharper and too sharp to my ears.
I’ve tried a ton of picks from expensive (Blue Chip) to cheap. Compared to the Blue Chip in similar size, the Beekeepers Stash has more definition, which I like. So far I’m not seeing any wear issues too. I would recommend folks give this a try.
